Coco Gauff and Aryna Sabalenka Snubbed for Iga Swiatek as WTA Finals Rival Makes Bias Evident in Honest Revelation

Yesterday, the WTA Finals took a surprising turn. When it looked like Iga Swiatek had almost made it to the semifinals after defeating Daria Kasatkina, Barbora Krejcikova stunned Coco Gauff to notch ahead of the Pole and enter the last 4 of the tournament. With this, Gauff finished second in the group and Swiatek was knocked out of the WTA Finals. However, there is still something to cheer for Swiatek.

Following her victory over Gauff, Krejcikova took to her official X handle where she started a question-and-answer session with her fans. Subsequently, one of the fans came up with an interesting question about who her favorite opponent was to play on the Tour, irrespective of the result.
The Czech star has been on the tour for long and has played consistently at the top level. As a result, she has developed an intriguing rivalry with fellow top athletes like Gauff and Swiatek. However, it’s Swiatek whom Krejcikova considers her favorite opponent to play against. She said, “I like to play against Iga because she brings out the best in me and I always know it’s gonna be a good match.”
