WTA Finals 2024 Prize Money: How much will each player pocket per round?

This year, the tournament will be held at the King Saud University Sports Arena in Riyadh, with the participation of the top two in the 2024 rankings, Aryna Sabalenka and the defending champion Iga Swiatek. The list is completed by Coco Gauff, Jasmine Paolini, Elena Rybakina, Jessica Pegula, Zheng Qinwen, and Barbora Krejcikova.
The first round is played in two groups of four players each, in a round-robin format. In the semifinals, the first place of each group faces the second place of the opposite group. The winners advance to the final and the winner takes the trophy and a check that can reach almost $5.2 million.
What is the prize pool to distribute in the singles tournament?
According to information from the WTA, the tournament will distribute $12.2 million in the singles tournament and $3.05 million in the doubles. The players already have their participant fee assured, of $335,000 each. After that, each victory in the round-robin gives them $350,000.
The semifinal winners take home another $1.27 million each, while the champion will pocket an additional $2.5 million. The winner is guaranteed a check for $4.45 million, but if she finishes the round-robin undefeated, the prize money rises to $5.15 million.
Meanwhile, the doubles tournament champions could pocket $1.12 million per pair if they finish the round-robin undefeated.
