Brooklyn Beckham ‘wants to prove people wrong’ as he hits back at ‘nepo baby’ criticism

Victoria and David Beckham's son, Brooklyn Beckham, opened up about being a 'nepo baby' and how it makes him work 'harder'

Brooklyn Beckham said being called a ‘nepo baby’ pushes him to work harder and ‘prove people wrong’.

The 25-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham is one of the many celebrity children criticised for being a ‘nepo baby’ – a term used to describe people who may have gained opportunities in a certain field (such as acting or singing) due to their familial connections.

Brooklyn has had many passions over the years, with the star starting out as a photographer before gaining an interest in cooking. However, his cooking videos hadn’t come without negative comments from fans as he attempted to showcase how to make a sausage sandwich and a pasta prepared with store-bought sauce.

In a new interview with Grazia, Brooklyn discussed being a ‘nepo baby’, revealing: “Obviously I am one. But I couldn’t help how I was born, at all.” He continued: “There’s always going to be people that say rubbish. But as long as you do something that makes you happy and you’re kind to people, that’s all that matters.
