According to previous reports – and Tom Bower’s tell-all book, The House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power – the Duchess of Sussex and the Spice-Girl-turned-fashion-designer’s relationship reportedly turned sour after Victoria discovered that Meghan thought she was better than her.

Bower wrote in his book, “Meghan deluded herself that her status in the royal family placed her above Victoria in the social pecking order.” And Victoria was reportedly less-than-thrilled when she found out how Meghan really felt, which then caused the alleged feud between the Beckhams and the Sussexes.

Bower explained in his book that Posh Spice humored the American Riviera Orchard founder at the time and gave her outfits, as well as tips on where to get the best beauty treatments, because she and David Beckham were so close with Prince William and Prince Harry. However, a friend has since confirmed what we suspected all along: that Victoria never really liked Meghan!

“The truth is that Victoria never really liked Meghan much,” a friend of the Beckhams reportedly told the Daily Mail, adding: “She was friendly and welcoming to her but is not bothered about staying in touch.” Ouch!
