A secluded country estate deep in the heart of Scotland which includes tennis ace Andy Murray among its neighbours has come on the market for £6.5m.
Cromlix Estate near Dunblane is being sold by the Chisholm family, which has owned the land for more than 500 years. Part of the estate was earlier sold off to Andy Murray and his family to set up their Cromlix House Hotel venture.
Now the remaining parts of the property have been put up for sale with the estate set in a “private position surrounded by stunning countryside” and spanning more than 1,300 acres.
The estate is being sold for £6.5 million with potential buyers given the option to buy separate parcels of the property.

The Victorian estate lodge, which has six bedrooms, four reception rooms and three bathrooms, dates back to the 1880s and is surrounded by stunning gardens and sheltered by woodland on three sides.
