Iga Świątek has officially ended her partnership with coach Tomasz Wiktorowski, marking a significant shift in her career. The Polish tennis star, currently ranked world number one, shared the news on Friday, adding that she is already searching for a new coach, likely from abroad.
“After three years of achieving the greatest successes in my career, we have decided to part ways,” Świątek said in her statement. She expressed gratitude towards Wiktorowski for his support during a crucial time when she needed fresh insights and changes in her training.
A Journey to Number One

Under his guidance, she went on to win numerous tournaments, including four Grand Slam titles at Roland Garros (2022, 2023, 2024) and the US Open (2022).
“I want to start by thanking him because his experience, strategic approach, and tennis knowledge led to achievements I could only dream of. We aimed high, and we won several titles together, including four Grand Slams,” she added.
Looking Ahead
Świątek acknowledged Wiktorowski’s desire to take a break and spend time with his loved ones after an intense three years. “Few people deserve a break as much as Coach Wiktorowski,” she said. The tennis star plans to take the coming weeks to find her new coach and is in early talks with international candidates.
“I feel ready for the next step in my career,” Świątek announced, promising updates once a decision is made.
