LPGA Star Nelly Korda Angers Fans With Her Gun Video
Nelly Korda angered some of her fans with her latest video on social media.
Korda, 26, is one of the biggest rising stars in the golf game. The women’s golfer has two LPGA major golf tournament wins, along with a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Korda is a rising star on social media, too, with more than 1 million fans on Instagram. But some of them aren’t happy.
The Florida native shared a video of herself shooting a gun. “Fun activities,” she wrote.
“No, I don’t like that she will lose support for this post as someone that don’t like guns,” one fan wrote.
“Why is it a big deal that the world’s No. 1 ranked golfer is at a gun range? Because we’re living at a time when lefties attack the minute someone like Korda won’t get in line with their gun politics,” one fan added.
However, Korda doesn’t seem to be bothered by the critics. She took to social media with a reassuring message.
“Yes, I had an instructor & it was very safe,” she added.
