Andy Murray: ‘I felt guilty leaving my kids at home or being away from my wife for a long time’

During a recent interview with the BBC, Andy Murray spoke about his new life since officially retiring following the Olympic Games. And the three-time Grand Slam winner intends to spend time with his family after spending the last 20 years of his life traveling the globe. “What I always found difficult in recent years was that there was always a feeling of guilt associated with what I was doing. If I was going on a three or four week trip, I felt guilty about leaving my kids at home or being away from my wife for an extended period of time. But if I was at home with the kids, I was running around and spending a lot of time on my feet after practice. And then I wondered if this was going to affect my training or my performance the next day, whether I should stand or not. I have found this difficult in recent years. »
