Andy Murray has embarked on a new career path since retiring from tennis. The two-time Wimbledon champion has recently ventured into modelling, gracing the October cover of high-end fashion magazine Modern Luxury.

Murray shared images from his photoshoot on Instagram, showcasing his newfound modelling prowess.

In one striking photo, he dons a purple leather jacket, pin-striped t-shirt, and grey trousers, posing in a field-like setting.

Another image features Murray in a light brown long-line jacket, walking confidently in front of a wall, while a third shows him in the water. This unexpected career move comes just weeks after his retirement from tennis following the Olympic doubles tournament.

Murray’s foray into modelling draws parallels with fellow British tennis player Jack Draper’s experience. Draper, who has previously dabbled in modelling, expressed his enjoyment of the camera’s attention.

“I quite enjoy being in front of the camera,” Draper told British Vogue in July, adding with a touch of humour: “If I’m looking good, that is.”

The 22-year-old has experimented with various looks, stating, “I’ve done a buzzcut, mohawk, mullet…”

This shared interest in modelling between the two athletes highlights a growing trend of tennis players exploring opportunities beyond the court.
