In their heyday, all the Spice Girls had a signature hairstyle, and Victoria Beckham’s was a sleek bob. After the group broke up, Beckham was free to play around with her hair, and she went through a brief pixie cut period before settling on a long, wavy style that has been her go-to ever since. Until now, that is.
Victoria Beckham seemed to revive the Posh Spice bob in pictures taken in Las Vegas on September 2, where she and the rest of the family were celebrating her son Romeo Beckham’s 22nd birthday—but with a twist. The original Posh Spice bob was chin-length, with choppy, face-framing layers and worn sleek and straight with a center part. Beckham’s 2024 version of the bob is still center-parted, but is cut slightly longer. And instead of wearing her hair poker straight, Beckham’s updated style features some beachy waves.
One thing that hasn’t changed from the ‘90s, however, is Beckham’s penchant for the color black. For Romeo’s birthday celebration, Beckham wore a monochromatic black outfit, including a strapless top and wide-legged pants, that recalls some of her iconic minimalist ‘fits from back in the day. This time, she accessorized with an Hermès mini Kelly bag and silver bracelets.
