Mel B has revealed the ‘weird’ moment Tom Cruise hijacked Victoria Beckham’s birthday bash.

The Hollywood A-lister, 62, was the talk of the night after he shocked guests by recreating his famous over-the-top moves from Tropic Thunder, where he played the outrageous movie producer Les Grossman.

In the film, Cruise’s character, delivers a hilariously cringeworthy hip-hop dance to Ludacris’ Get Back during the end credits.

However, speaking at the Netflix’s Celebrity Bear Hunt premiere on Tuesday, Mel, 49, admitted she didn’t fully understand the humour behind the performance.

She told The Sun: ‘We were at Victoria’s 50th birthday and her son, Cruz, started singing Mama on the guitar and David (Beckham) was like pushing us all up. All five of us were singing and then Tom Cruise made a circle and he did that dance from that movie, for some reason.

‘We were all like dancing away and he goes ”Come on, man! Come on!” He starts getting together this circle. So he goes in the circle first – Tom Cruise! – and starts doing all this…’

Mel added: ‘I went ”Oh my God!” and that’s why I left the circle. It was the weirdest dance.’

Mel is among 12 celebrities taking part in the survival series – helmed by Holly Willoughby and Bear Grylls – which was filmed last year in Costa Rica.

It comes after the singer revealed if any of her fellow Spice Girls would ever take on Celebrity Bear Hunt.

Speaking to MailOnline at the screening, she even dished on what pal Victoria would say to the show.

She formed the Spice Girls with Victoria, Geri Horner, Melanie C and Emma Bunton – but wasn’t sure if any of them would be brave enough to do the show.

The star said at the event: ‘None of them. None of them. They’ll be like, ‘ewwww’.

‘I thought I was going to be like that but I had to switch my mentality. Because you are in a jungle with strangers and you’re all sleeping side by side with each other not knowing how the day is going to start.

‘It is brilliant but it’s mental.
