Brooklyn Beckham was cut from wife Nicola Peltz’s film Lola and he’s ‘still mad’

Brooklyn Beckham faced a harsh reality when his own spouse, Nicola Peltz, chose to exclude him from the final cut of her directorial debut, Lola.

Despite Brooklyn engaging in background work for the film and even asking for a speaking part, Nicola stood firm on her decision as the director. She admitted to the Hollywood Reporter: “I directed a film last year that I wrote when I was 23. And Brooklyn is still mad at me.”

Nicola recounted: “He was like, ‘Can I be in your movie?’ And I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, I would be honoured, but we have to disguise you’.”

Despite Brooklyn’s eager participation, Nicola found herself unable to resist cutting his speaking scene, much to his chagrin. “Obviously he’s covered in tattoos and he’s British. So he did a few parts in the background which, if you pay attention, you can find, but in one scene he’s like ‘Can I put the mic on, I wanna say a line?'” she explained.

The incident amused her greatly, as she shared: “He had the most British accent ever. I ended up cutting him out!” Reflecting on his reaction in the editing room, Nicola said: “He sat there, in the editing room, he was like, ‘Did you really just cut me out while I’m sitting here?’ I was like, ‘Yes, I love you so much,'” reports the Mirror.

This celebrity pair sealed their union in an opulent £3 million ceremony in Miami back in 2022, surrounded by the who’s who of the entertainment industry.
