Hilarious moment Harper Beckham, 13, dodges dad David’s kisses after he hit defiantly defended himself for kissing her on the lips

Ten years ago, David Beckham hit back at those who criticised him for kissing his daughter on the lips.

But on Thursday night, Harper Beckham, 13, dodged her dad’s attempts to give her a peck whilst at his launch party for Hugo Boss.

Supported by his whole family, David Beckham, 49, celebrated his bodywear collection with BOSS at Lightroom in London.

His wife Victoria, 50, sons Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 19, as well as Harper were in attendance.

A new video posted by Paris Match shows the hilarious moment the doting father tried to get a kiss from his daughter whilst on the dancefloor.

Jokingy pouting his lips, he smiles and leans in towards Harper but she quickly leans back and dodges him.

Giggling and smiling together, he goes in for another attempt, but she offers her cheek instead in a sweet moment.

The scene is a world away from when David defiantly stood up to critics who said kissing his daughter on the lips was odd.

Posting on Instagram when Harper was five years old, he posted another picture doing the same thing in 2018, 2019 and another in 2023.

Now after turning thirteen last July, it seems Harper is not so keen anymore.

While many had branded the pictures at the time’beautiful’ and a depiction of the ‘close bond’ he has with Harper, David was also hit with a barrage of negative comments as others claimed the post had been ‘disgusting’.

Defending his display of affection, he said during a Facebook Live in 2017 that he kisses all of his children on the lips.

‘I kiss all my kids on the lips,’ he said.
