Nelly Korda did a lot of cooking in short offseason and her go-to dish will surprise you

World No. 1 Nelly Korda had a short offseason, but she had a little time to do some of the things she loves away from the game, like vacationing in the mountains and cooking.

She’s got a surprising signature dish, too. Goulash!

“I’ve been cooking a lot of goulash and then in Florida, I cook a lot of white fish too,” Korda said. “So white fish and veggies—roasted asparagus with garlic and any type of cheese. Parmesan cheese, usually.”

Weekend golfers everywhere are probably googling how to make goulash!

Goulash is a spicy Hungarian soup that contains meat and vegetables. It’s often seasoned with paprika and/or other spices. There are plenty of types of goulash, a dish commonly found in Europe.

But if it’s good for the 26-year-old LPGA star, it might be good for us, too.

Last year, Korda won seven times and earned the Rolex Player of the Year honors. She kicks off the new season this week Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions at Lake Nona Golf & Country Club in Orlando.

She’s from Bradenton, so maybe she packed up some of that goulash for this week!

Korda’s favorite dishes to cook sound extremely healthy, but the fish should be less time consuming and easier to make.
