Prince Harry dealt brutal blow by David Beckham after snub he ‘never forgave him for’
David Beckham is said to have dished out a cold revenge to Prince Harry after feeling snubbed by the Duke of Sussex.
When Meghan Markle tied the knot with Prince Harry in a star-studded Royal wedding, the guest list was filled with American A-listers such as Serena Williams, George Clooney, and Oprah Winfrey, alongside British heavyweights like football icon David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham.
However, according to a shocking new book, the Duke of Sussex’s long-standing friendship with David Beckham allegedly crumbled following a perceived “snub” by the Royal couple. The author claims that this led to Beckham seeking “revenge” on his former friend.
In his book, House of Beckham, royal expert Tom Bower alleges that the football superstar felt slighted by Prince Harry just months after he had graced the Duke’s lavish Royal wedding in Windsor.
This occurred during the 2018 Invictus Games held in Sydney in October, merely five months after David and his wife were seen beaming at Harry and Meghan’s nuptials.
Bower suggests in his book, as reported by The Independent, that Beckham found himself largely alone at the games, puzzled as to why officials seemed to be keeping him content yet distant from Prince Harry, despite having arrived on the agreed day to meet the Duke.
The author further alleged that Prince Harry had requested his friend David Beckham to keep a distance, a directive supposedly originating from Meghan, Harry’s wife. “Photographs of the two together were forbidden.
