Victoria Beckham And Gordon Ramsay Gets Their Own Docuseries At Netflix
At the Edinburgh TV Festival on August 21, Netflix said that it’ll be filming a documentary series—a fancy term for reality shows—centered on Victoria Beckham and Gordon Ramsay of Oxfordshire.
According to the streamer, Gordon Ramsay and Victoria Beckham have both signed deals for television series. We are, of course, going to tell you all the specifics.
The upcoming Victoria documentary, which will follow husband David Beckham’s documentary series detailing his ascent to fame as a successful soccer player and pop culture icon, promises to go through the former pop star’s personal life to examine her family life, career in the fashion and beauty industry, and her time in the public eye.
Netflix’s official account revealed the news on X, writing: “In the most Posh news ever, a Victoria Beckham documentary series is now in production. Victoria, her fashion and beauty company, and her never-before-seen archives will all be exclusively accessible to viewers of the series, which will chronicle her transformation as Creative Director of her own brand.”
The logline of the project states, “Her Posh Spice days may be behind her, but today Beckham is on a journey to build a fashion empire— and now, fans will be able to see the story behind it all.”
In collaboration with Dorothy St Pictures, David Beckham’s production Studio 99—which also produced his documentary “Beckham“—will produce the show. The choice of the director is still pending.
The 50-year-old Victoria Beckham became well-known in the 1990s as Posh Spice, a Spice Girl. The band is the best-selling girl group of all time, having sold over a million albums globally. Some months after the birth of their oldest son, Brooklyn, she wed David Beckham, one of the most well-known soccer players in the world, in 1999. They currently have four kids. The Times of London claims that David and Victoria Beckham are worth a combined £455 million, or over $600 million.
The Gordon Ramsey television series, dubbed “Being Gordon Ramsey,” will chronicle the chef-entrepreneur as he prepares for the launch of his “biggest restaurant venture to date”—five distinct culinary experiences—in London’s 22 Bishopsgate.
According to a release from Netflix, “the nine-month-long series will offer exclusive access to the Ramsay family, as Gordon balances his various work commitments and life as a husband to his wife, Tana, and father to their six children.”
Ramsay’s own television firm, Studio Ramsay Global, will produce the entire project, which will be shot over a nine-month period. Dionne Bromfield, who previously collaborated with the chef on Gordon, Gino & Fred’s Road Trip, and the First Dates Hotel, will serve as the director.
Although there is no indication of when this will air, the eateries are anticipated to debut in February 2025. In the words of Netflix: “Watch, or be an idiot sandwich.”
