David Beckham accidentally reveals huge self portrait in his $80m Miami mansion

David Beckham appears to love an image of himself so much that he has had it turned into a giant piece of art that he has hung up in his own home over in Florida

The Beckhams have a giant portrait of family patriarch David hanging in their Miami home – with the surprising artwork exposed in a festive snap.

Over the Christmas season, Victoria and David and their four children have united in the Florida city where they have enjoyed balmy temperatures and fully immersed themselves in the festive spirit. And Vicky, 50, has been keeping her fans and social media followers abreast of her celebrations by sharing snapshots via her Instagram account.

Over the weekend, the former Spice Girl shares a collection of snaps showing herself with her family – including eldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz – as they posed in front of a huge Christmas tree. She shared a trio of images in a single post – alongside a simple statement which read: “Being together for the holidays makes me so happy xxxx I love you all so much @davidbeckham @brooklynpeltzbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham @nicolaannepeltzbeckham #harperseven.”

The first image showed the mum-of-four with her husband, children and daughter-in-law – with everyone looking happy as the camera snapped. A second image featured just the boys – while a third showed the four Beckham children huddled together. It was in the background of the third image that a huge portrait of David could be seen reflecting in the window of their luxury mansion.

The image appeared to date back from the turn of the century when Dave was known to sport a buzzcut. He discussed his approach to haircare over the years in his recent Netflix documentary, with fans watching him say: “I had a hairdresser at the time called Tyler. I said to him, ‘I’m gonna cut my hair’ and he was like, ‘Are you sure? You really want to do that?'”

But he recalled the sharp hairstyle caused friction at work as then-Manchester United Coach Sir Alex Ferguson flipped out over his decision to shave his head. Dave recalled: “And [Ferguson] said, ‘David take the cap off.’ And I said, ‘No.'”
