Cruz Beckham is set to release new music after spending a ‘fortune’ working with top industry professionals
Cruz Beckham is set to release his new music after signing a major management deal two years ago.
The youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham, 19, is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his Spice Girls singer mum.
Cruz has been perfecting his craft with a number of top industry professionals and the Beckham’s have spent a small ‘fortune’ to help him create his sound with top songwriters.
Cruz has been working with writer Ed Frewett, who has four No1 singles already and has written Shout Out To My Ex and Black Magic for Little Mix, All Time Low and Glad You Came for The Wanted and Best Song Ever, Steal My Girl and History for One Direction.
He has also been working with producer Fred Ball, who has worked with Rihanna, Beyonce and Mariah Carey, and Joe Rubel, who has engineered records for Ed Sheeran.
A Music insider told The Sun: ‘The plan is to launch this year to let people hear what he has been working so hard on for years.
‘There is a lot of excitement around him as a singer but he is also acutely aware that he really needs to prove himself so he isn’t just accused of being a nepo baby, which is why he has spent so long perfecting the music.
‘A fortune has been spent on getting him in rooms with some of the best brains in the business and the results are promising.’
Last August, Victoria shared a video of her son Cruz showing off his musical talent.
Posh Spice showed the apple does not fall far from the tree as she filmed her son playing the guitar in Croatia.
Cruz sat on a stone wall by the sea in front of a stunning sunset and played a beautiful rendition of Here Comes The Sun by The Beatles.
Fans took to the comments to praise Victoria and David’s youngest son for his guitar skills.
