Andy Murray reacts after ‘absolute carnage’ happening to do with tennis on social media
It is no surprise that Andy Murray has struggled to stay clear of the limelight since drawing the curtain shut on his illustrious career.
Murray has already begun his quest to become the next Tiger Woods but the Brit has successfully managed to steer clear of the controversy and drama that has ensued in the sport of tennis on social media as of late.
Jannik Sinner made headlines on Tuesday after details were made public about a doping case involving the Italian that had been ongoing behind the scenes since March.
This has naturally caused a major stir online, notably among many current and former stars, including Nick Kyrgios and Andy Roddick.
What happened and what did Andy Murray say?
Kyrgios has not played a competitive ATP match in 14 months as he diligently prepares for a return to action, but the controversial Australian has not shied away from resorting to social media to voice his opinions.
The 2022 Wimbledon finalist has been very vocal about his stance on Sinner’s case, and so too has Roddick.
Roddick has backed the Italian, claiming on his podcast: “The amount in his system is one billionth of a gram, or 58,000 times smaller than a grain of salt, which is completely consistent with the explanation.”
The American’s stance was published on X, to which Kyrgios replied: “Do you understand how quickly this stuff exits your system? Cream, gummies literally hours. Ridiculous statement,” claiming that he knew this through: “Research. Dumb ass,” when asked by a fan.
