Balenciaga travels to Paris for its latest campaign, lensed by legendary photographer Juergen Teller. Street scenes depict Olympic sharpshooting medalist — and breakout fashion icon of the 2024 Games — Kim Ye-Ji, model Romeo Beckham and singer Kim Petras posing with pieces of vintage furniture curated by the label’s creative director, Demna.
Several of Balenciaga’s bestselling handbags are featured in the campaign, including the classic Le City tote and newer models like the Rodeo, Hampton and Bel Air.
Kim Ye-Ji became a viral style star this summer, placing second in the women’s 10-meter air pistol final. Her high-tech specs, monochromatic uniform and sleek Sauer Easy Top pistol shoes caught the Internet’s attention.
“Clips started going viral after people noticed her infinite aura and ice cold stance,” said TikTok creator Stylebykvn. “While she didn’t win gold, she’s definitely won our hearts and the runway.”
