Naomi Osaka and Iga Swiatek latest to pair for star-studded 2024 US Open practice

They say practice makes perfect, but in the eyes of thier many fans, these stars already are.

On Thursday during Fan Week, the trend of superstars practing together continued as former US Open champions Naomi Osaka and Iga Swiatek traded groundstrokes at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

The pair own nine Grand Slam singles titles between them, with Swiatek holding five and Osaka, four. The Pole won her US Open title in 2022, while Osaka claimed the New York crown in 2018 and 2020.

Other stars to hit the hard courts included fellow Grand Slam champions Jannik Sinner and Aryna Sabalenka, Tommy Paul, Maria Sakkari, Barbora Krejcikova, Grigor Dimitrov, Holger Rune and Shelby Rogers.
