Furious Victoria Beckham: ‘Don’t call Harper a nepo baby’

She's tired of the 'nepo baby' jibes

Being the littlest Beckham does not reflect the size of Harper Seven’s dreams. The 13 year old recently proved she’s a chip off the old block when she wrote down her aspirations for the future at her mum Victoria’s new fragrance launch. ‘To create an amazing brand when I am older,’ she penned.
By all accounts, the wheels are already in motion, as it was reported last week that fashion and beauty mogul Vic, 50, has incorporated a business called H7B limited– a reference to the teen’s full name of Harper Seven. But as her older brothers Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, and Cruz, 19, bear the brunt of nepotism digs on their respective culinary, football/fashion and music career paths, insiders say Vic is wary of the backlash that could befall her daughter.

‘Victoria has never been prouder than when Harper said she wanted to have her own brand when she gets older and follow in her footsteps. But she and husband David know pushing Harper into the spotlight is going to cause a lot of backlash, just as it has with her brothers,’ we’re told.

‘Both are protective of all their children, but especially Harper. Not only is she the youngest but she’s the only girl. There is already more attention on her, which will increase the pressure. But they know that Harper has what it takes to succeed in the celebrity world and she had the best people to come to for advice. They won’t let anybody take advantage of her and Victoria is determined to help manage her career.’

Harper might not have an Instagram account just yet, but she is a regular feature on her family’s grids. In fact, whenever former Spice Girl Vic or ex-England footballer David, 49, share content of their daughter, it’s not without the hashtag ‘Harper Seven’. The older she’s got, said content has included rubbing shoulders with the likes of Kim Kardashian and Gigi Hadid, experimenting with her mum’s beauty products, and wearing the designer’s ensembles at high-end events. Speaking about her daughter’s ability with a make-up palette, Vic previously said, ‘She’s been able to do a full face and contour for quite some time. She’s good at doing it very naturally.’
