“What a season to remember!!!” – Fans react to Nelly Korda’s big achievement ahead of LPGA season’s end

Nelly Korda had a spectacular season on the LPGA Tour, winning her second career Major trophy and five other tournaments. She was named the Rolex Player of the Year as a result. The watch brand sponsors the women’s golf rankings, which Korda was on top of almost all season long.

Korda had six wins, nine top-10 placements, and earned an impressive $3.7 million from all 14 of her starts. The golfer made the cut in 11 of those starts. Few golfers, in both men’s and women’s golf, had more accomplished seasons than the world number one did in 2024.

The season isn’t quite over yet but the LPGA Tour star did enough till this point to secure the prestigious award. Fans flocked to the replies to congratulate her on winning. One fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
