Rebecca Loos doubles down on claims she had an affair with David Beckham insisting ‘I have stuck to the truth’ for 20 years and alleges she wasn’t the only one he cheated with

David Beckham’s former assistant Rebecca Loos has doubled down on claims she had an affair with the married star 20 years ago.

Rebecca sat down for a new interview with 60 Minutes Australia which aired on Sunday night, during which she insisted she has ‘never lied’ and has ‘stuck to the truth’ since she first made the allegations in 2004.

David, who has been married to Spice Girl Victoria since 1999, has previously denied his former assistant’s affair claims.

‘In my opinion, it was a very brave thing to do to go up against them,’ Rebecca, now 47, told 60 Minutes Australia. ‘I have stuck to the truth. I’ve never exaggerated. I never lied about a single thing.’

‘Why? Because I’m going up against the strongest, most powerful couple in the media who have all the money in the world for the best PR, the best lawyers. And all I had on my side was the truth,’ she added.

She said she was speaking out again after watching David and Victoria talk about the scandal in their 2023 Netflix documentary, explaining: ‘It’s a big part of my life, a big part of my journey. And if somebody tries to bring me down and smear me, I’m gonna have to stand up for myself. I think I always will.’

Working for David in 2003 during his time playing for Real Madrid, Rebecca, who is now a married mum of two teeangers, said in the new interview that her boss was ‘kind and caring and made me feel special.

She told the outlet that Victoria was out of town when David allegedly invited her to a hotel, adding that she ‘gave in.’

‘The way he looks at you Oh, it’s just the look in his eyes and it’s quite hard not to. He has this charismatic power about him, he can easily get what he wants. He’s very good-looking and I think and he knows it,’ Rebecca, who was 26 at the time, said.

‘He told me he had never done this before. I was the first one. All of the cliche things. I fell hook, line and sinker for every single cliche line he fed me,’ Rebecca said.

‘And then two weeks later we were at Ronaldo’s birthday party and he’s off with this beautiful model. And I was like, “Uh.” That was a hard night for me. I was like, “Uh, I don’t understand.” And realisations started to hit that I’d been massively played.’

Rebecca told 60 Minutes Australia that she first spoke out publicly in 2004 because she ‘always had the opinion [that] it’s better that it comes from me and I have some sort of control.’

‘Also, by doing that, it was a way of me, sort of, not getting back at him but … the way he treated me was very unfair, what he was getting away with, and that two-faced life. I know how much his image means to him. I want him to feel some pain too, I guess.’

She went on to admit she felt sorry for Victoria, explaining: ‘There were horrible stories about me, there were horrible stories about this wife Victoria. There were never horrible stories about him’.
