Kim Kardashian seeks to erase ex-husband Kanye West as she embarks on full remodel of $60M former marital home
Kim Kardashian is going to expensive new lengths to ‘manifest’ a husband in the new episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians.
This week’s episode begins with Kim, 44, at her Hidden Hills home, which she’s trying to get organized before undertaking a massive remodel.
Kim and her ex-husband Kanye West purchased the home for $20 million in 2014, though it’s said to be worth upwards of $60 million, with the exes now embroiled in a ‘nuclear’ war.’
She then paid Kanye $23 million for the home – $20 million for the home itself and $3 million for all its contents, back in 2021.
‘I’m packing up my entire house. I’m fully remodeling and it’s not easy to do this with four kids,’ Kim said in confession, adding she has, ‘one time in my life when I can do this.’
Her mother Kris Jenner shows up and marvels at all of the boxes lined up, calling her a ‘hoarder’ as Kim insists this will help her ‘purge.’
She tells Kris that she has a meeting with the landscaper and she will move out for ‘a year and a half,’ and one of the big new additions is a closet for her future beau.
Kim then tries to explain her vision of the remodel to Kris, when she explains the closet for ‘him,’ her future spouse.
‘And then here will be a whole area, a whole closet, I can show you,’ Kim tells Kris, though the momager is quite confused.
‘A whole closet for what?’ Kris asks, as Kim immediately answers, ‘For him,’ as Kris continues to be confused.
‘For him? Who’s him?’ Kris asks, as Kim says, ‘I don’t know! Manifesting!’ as Kris is clearly flabbergasted.
Kim then tells the camera, ‘I did this whole renovation and I looked up to my team and I go, “Guys, we’re adding on to the house, we’re changing everything for me, and then I thought, “Wait, where’s the his side?”‘
She adds, ‘I’ll be so stuck in that, and not even be open to having a partner, if I don’t like build it. So if you build it, he will come,’ Kim says with a laugh, repeating the famous line in the 1989 baseball classic film Field of Dreams.
Back in confession, a producer asks, ‘Should we assume that there is a him?’ Kim said, ‘No, you should never assume.’
