Victoria Beckham and Diane von Furstenberg among top brands at new Co Wicklow charity shop

Vision Ireland said the reaction of the community of Greystones, County Wicklow to the opening of its first concept store in Ireland has been “very warm and welcoming”, as it brings its innovative retail venture to the town.
Located on Hillside Road, Greystones, the new retail space, called ‘Reloved’, marks something of a step forward in reimagining the typical charity retail offering, with a large selection of premium, pre-loved fashion in a space that has been carefully designed to suit its environment.
Vision Ireland’s retail regional manager, Siobhan Miller, said the charity is essentially trying to “elevate what the charity shop is and to elevate the charity shopping experience”, from the stereotypical stores that dot the main streets of so many towns around the country.
“I suppose what we’re trying to do is bring the customers some really high quality, pre-loved fashion. And it’s in the most beautiful space,” Siobhan said.
“So I think the shop unit itself looks really different to our normal stores. It’s designed and curated to really give you that feeling that it’s an elevated kind of shopping experience.”
Asked whether the charity met with any resistance from the fastidious residents of the town, Siobhan said the reception was actually quite the opposite.
