Victoria Beckham: ‘I’ll make Harper the next Kylie Jenner’

With reality TV stars fast becoming superstars and influencers with millions in the bank, it seems Victoria Beckham – who transformed herself from ’90s pop star to fashion mogul – is already clocking onto the trend.
Now, Victoria, 50, could be set to turn ‘momager’ to her daughter, Harper, 13, and has planned for her to play a big part in her upcoming Netflix series later this year, which will chart Victoria’s own rise to stardom.
And a source says Posh’s unlikely idol for her daughter is KUWTK star Kylie Jenner who, with an estimated £719 million net worth, has amassed most of her staggering wealth through her company, Kylie Jenner Cosmetics – a savvy business move made off the back of her huge social media influence.
Our insider says, ‘Part of Victoria’s motivation to do this new docu-series was to put Harper on a global platform and move her even more into the limelight – she’s joked that she plans to turn her only daughter into the next Kylie Jenner.
‘Harper has become a bigger presence on Vic’s social media as well as accompanying her to more high-profile events, but she knows this Netflix show will give her the worldwide exposure she needs to become the next big star of Brand Beckham.’
Kylie, 27, is no stranger to advertising her products to her 394 million social media followers and, after creating her own make-up tutorial debut (using £195 of Victoria Beckham products) on her mum’s Instagram in December, Harper is already hot on the heels of the youngest Kardashian.
The source adds, ‘They’ve been working on ideas for her brand, which has become far clearer over the last couple of years as Harper has developed a passion for make-up.
‘Victoria is impressed with how Kris Jenner turned Kylie into the youngest US billionaire with her line and is now looking at helping Harper achieve huge success – insisting her new series will be the platform to launch both her and her billion-dollar beauty brand.’
