Did Victoria Beckham just channel Geri Halliwell at a swanky royal bash?

Victoria Beckham is known for her stand-out style and over the years she has served up any number of covetable looks.

Then there’s her highly regarded fashion line and her makeup range so it’s little wonder then, that she was looking her best at The King’s Foundation dinner to bolster Anglo-Italian relations at Highgrove.

Victoria stole the show on the night in a self-designed look that was the perfect blend of elegance and daring.

Her dress had cut-out sleeves that moved with her and a ruched waistline that flowed out beautifully into a long train.

Victoria seems to have taken inspiration from decades past to create the striking gown from the silk material to the flow of the dress which screams 1930s to the Eighties era ruching.

That so, did she also take her cue from one of her Spice pals?

Victoria’s dress was created in a light creamy white shade that we rarely see her in but has become somewhat of a trademark for Gerri Halliwell-Horner.

Geri was famously called out by Mel B for only wearing white and it does look to be her go-to colour. Either way, we love it on Victoria as well!
