Cruz Beckham’s VERY sweet tribute to mum Victoria at her star-studded 50th birthday is revealed… as he is spotted out on low-key dog walk the morning after raucous party
Cruz Beckham, 19, paid an incredibly sweet tribute to his mum Victoria at her 50th birthday party on Saturday night – by harking back to her Spice Girls days.
The pop star turned fashion designer, who invited a slew of stars to the bash at Oswald’s members club, was joined by her husband David, 48, and their kids Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 21, and Harper, 12, as well as Cruz.
During the party, Cruz honoured his mother by taking to the stage to perform the band’s 1996 hit Mama complete with the lyrics: ‘Mama, I love you / Mama, I care / Mama, I love you / Mama, my friend (you’re my friend)’.
The sweet tribute came alongside speeches from his siblings following Victoria’s emotional rhapsody to her family and friends at the bash.
Following Saturday night’s party, Cruz was spotted out and about in London taking his beloved pet dogs for a walk while rocking casual garb.
He was seen in a red hoodie with a camel coloured beanie hat while emerging in the wake of the family party, where the entirety of the Spice Girls also joined Victoria to celebrate and perform their 1997 hit Stop.
Cruz joined his superstar family at the party, where The Daily Mail’s Alison Boshoff revealed that Victoria gave a speech in which she thanked David and her beloved four kids for throwing the party.
She then passed the microphone over to their four children. A friend revealed: ‘Brooklyn and Romeo said three lines each. They paid tribute to their mum, Harper read her [speech] off of a phone while the others ad libbed.’
Straight after that, the party really got going, as aspiring singer Cruz broke into song with Spice Girls’ hit Mama, on a small stage.
It wasn’t long before Victoria and the other band members, comprising Emma Bunton, Geri Horner, Mel B and Mel C, joined him to dance along in what one friend said was ‘actually quite emotional and very special’.
Friends sweetly revealed that strutting her stuff alongside Sporty, Scary, Ginger and Baby, was a highlight of Victoria’s night.
She had asked DJ Hale Zero to play a Spice Girl medley, and it was during their hit Stop that David broke the party’s no-phone rule and videoed them. Both he and Victoria posted it on their Instagram when they got home.
