Bryson DeChambeau, Rory McIlroy & Nelly Korda Fall Out of Min Woo Lee’s Favor as 44YO Legend Wins His Admiration

Min Woo Lee has got his priorities straight! Younger brother to LPGA Tour pro and two-time Major winner Minjee Lee, the 26-year-old golfer has come up the ranks with a captain’s pick for the 2024 Presidents Cup International Team, among other achievements, since turning pro in 2019. And that has ensured significant public interest in the youngster. However, this time he’s turned heads for a different reason—choices that many would like to call mind-boggling.
Case in point: On October 9, the Australian golfer joined Golf Digest for a fun segment on Instagram. The caption to the video is self-explanatory: “Who has the sweetest swing in golf? We asked Min Woo Lee to blind-rank his favorites.”
So, 10 spots, countless icons. Who did Lee pick? First up was his sister, Minjee, starting off the activity on a high note. “I’ll put her at number three. She has a great swing,” Lee said. Next up was Rory McIlroy, the former world number one in the Official World Golf Ranking, who spent over a hundred weeks in that spot. He’s also a four-time major champion, having picked up wins at the 2011 US Open, the 2012 PGA Championship, the 2014 Open Championship and 2014 PGA Championship. Interestingly, he’s the only person to win the FedEx Cup three times, surpassing Tiger Woods’ two. However, McIlroy was only able to take the second spot on Lee’s list.
