Victoria and David Beckham’s snub to Meghan Markle as they mingle in nemesis’s circle

Victoria and David Beckham were spotted mingling in the circle of Meghan Markle’s nemesis, Jeremy Clarkson, sparking rumours of a snub to the Duchess.

The Beckham duo, notorious for their A-list status and high-profile connections, found themselves in deep conversation with Gerald Cooper, a familiar face from Clarkson’s Amazon Prime show, Clarkson’s Farm, at The Chequers pub in Chipping Norton this past Saturday night.

Clarkson, who has famously feuded with Meghan Markle, wrote a scathingly controversial op-ed in The Sun in 2022, where he wrote that he despises the Duchess of Sussex on “a cellular level” and that he dreams of the day Markle is made to parade naked through Britain while the crowd chants “shame” and throws “excrement” at her, reminiscent of the famous Game of Thrones scene.

The former Top Gear presenter claimed that “everyone who’s my age thinks the same way”. The piece became the most complained about story to the Independent Press Standards Organisation.

Public figures, including John Bishop and Carol Vorderman, and even Clarkson’s own daughter, Emily, voiced their disdain for his harsh words.

But the Beckhams seemed unbothered by their former pal’s connections to Clarkson as they engaged with Cooper, known for his thick West Country accent and barely audible speech that even Clarkson jokes about on the show.
