Firefighters have been praised for trying to contain a series of deadly fires which have destroyed many structures and caused thousands to flee.
David and Victoria Beckham and Sir Brian May are among the stars sending their support to communities devastated by the raging fires in the Los Angeles area.
Many have praised the firefighters trying to contain a series of deadly blazes which have destroyed many structures, including the homes of TV personality Paris Hilton and Oscar-winning songwriter Diane Warren, and caused thousands of people to flee their homes.
Gavin And Stacey star James Corden, British singer Suki Waterhouse and English actress Kate Beckinsale were among those to share resources on how to seek help for those affected.
Former England captain David Beckham, who played for the Major League Soccer club LA Galaxy for five years, said Los Angeles was such a “special place” for his family.
“I’m heartbroken to wake up to more horrific stories and pictures and I’m thinking of everyone there including many friends and colleagues who are facing these devastating fires”, he wrote on his Instagram Story.
