Iga Swiatek’s new coach Wim Fissette gives verdict after Pole makes him try pierogi during time together in Poland

The tennis offseason offers players a well-deserved break to fully unwind, and World No. 2, Iga Swiatek, is making the most of it in Poland. Recently, she shared a picture of herself enjoying the Polish delicacy pierogi alongside her psychologist, Daria Abramowicz, and coach, Wim Fissette.

The picture of the trio was originally shared by Abramowicz on her Instagram story, with Swiatek later reposting it on her own. You can see it below:

The five-time Major champion later posted a clip on her story, showcasing Fissette’s reaction after trying the dumpling-shaped Polish dish. She captioned it:

“He liked it!”

Additionally, the Belgian coach reposted Swiatek’s story, sharing his positive response after trying the dish.

“Loved it 🙏😋,” he wrote.

Fissette became Swiatek’s new coach after she parted ways with her former coach, Tomasz Wiktorowski. Around the same time, Naomi Osaka also ended her partnership with Fissette, creating an opportunity for the two to join forces.
