Viktor Hovland pens heartfelt message to Nelly Korda after big season

Nelly Korda had a historic season on the LPGA Tour, and Viktor Hovland congratulated her after it. She is currently competing in the Grant Thornton Invitational, which is an unofficial event. The season has ended, and it closed with Korda winning seven events.
Cisco posted a reel on Instagram highlighting Korda’s season, calling it “incredible.” Hovland, who is also one of the brand’s athletes, shared the video to his own stories and added a heartfelt note for her.
Hovland said:
“Congrats to my fellow team Cisco player Nelly Korda.”
Korda had a dominant year. She wasn’t able to close it out with a season-ending win at the CME Group Tour Championship, but still ended as the World No. 1 on the Rolex Rankings.
The seven wins she earned included her second major at the Chevron Championship. That victory came in a string of five straight, tying the LPGA Tour record. She made the cut in 13 out of 16 starts in 2024 and had 11 top-10 finishes and a low round of 65.
