David Beckham Unintentionally Reveals Photo of Royal Family Member Hanging on His Wall
The soccer star has a long history of interactions with the Royal family
David Beckham has made a place on his wall for one British royal family member in particular.
The legendary soccer star, 49, took to Instagram on Monday, Dec. 9, to share a festive Christmas-themed video with followers that featured a split-second cameo from the late Queen Elizabeth, whom David has an image of proudly framed on his wall.
“I know it’s early morning, I’ve literally just walked into the office,” he led off the video. “Normally my office is actually quite tidy, something has gone on during the night,” David continued as he panned past a framed image of Queen Elizabeth on his wall and down to a television stand, which notably had several Elf on the Shelf figurines strewn about.
“I mean, really?” David added in the footage. “Mess on the floor, it’s definitely Christmas in the office.”
David and the rest of the Beckham family have a longstanding relationship with the Royal family, evident through his attendance at everything from the royal weddings of Prince William and Kate Middleton in 2011 as well as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s nuptials in 2018.
David received his OBE from Queen Elizabeth for services to soccer in 2003, and his wife, Victoria Beckham, became an OBE in 2017 for her work in fashion and charity, receiving her medal from Prince William at the time.
In 2024, David was named an ambassador for The King’s Foundation and assisted Prince William in raising funds for the London Air Ambulance.
Even David’s son, Brooklyn, has touted the special relationship the Beckhams have with the Royal family.

In November, Brooklyn told host Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live! that Prince William was the member of the Royal family that he saw the most growing up.
“He’s just like the sweetest guy ever. He really is. He’s really down to earth. He’s really [a] good guy,” Brooklyn said at the time.
