The secret with a message of love from Victoria Beckham to show off a sunless tan
The designer wins over her followers with a body oil that has a very special meaning
On July 4th, Victoria and David Beckham left their millions of followers speechless with the looks they chose to celebrate their silver wedding anniversary. The designer and former soccer player pulled out from their closets the purple dress and suit they wore as their second wedding outfit. “Look what we found… Yes, we still have them. We can’t believe it’s been 25 years and they still fit,” the posh Spice wrote.
The businesswoman wanted to have another romantic gesture towards her husband in this significant year. Victoria has been inspired by a getaway to Portofino that she took with David in 1997 and which holds a very special meaning for her. “It was a very romantic trip, I remember how excited I was to be there with him for the first time. The intensity of being together those 48 hours was incredible,” she explains.

For many years, the designer continuously used self-tanner, a product she stopped using for aesthetic reasons. “Sometimes my skin would turn orange, but that is definitely a look that belongs to the past. Being too tan ages you a lot,” she admitted to Hello! magazine.
The businesswoman has now revealed one of her great beauty tricks to achieve radiant and bronzed skin in just a few seconds. It’s the Portofino ’97 Golden Shimmer Body Oil, a body oil that contains glitter sparkles to give that sought-after and flattering luminous touch.
“You’re going to love it, it’s very different from any other oil, it leaves the skin with a glowing effect and the pigments adapt beautifully,” assures Victoria in a video she has shared on Instagram demonstrating how to apply it. “I have taken a long time to create the perfect body oil (…) It really gives the body an incredible shine and luminosity, something we all love in the summer. I’ve made sure it doesn’t resemble any other oil and I love how it looks on the skin,” she says.
