Victoria Beckham, known for her candid humor, has once again opened up about her passionate relationship with husband David Beckham.
Even after 25 years of marriage, the couple remains head over heels, with Victoria often affectionately referring to David as “Golden Balls.”
In an interview recalling their early years, Victoria revealed details about their first marital home, the grand Hertfordshire estate famously dubbed “Beckingham Palace.” She described it as having a racy flair, including a leopard-print room with a mirrored ceiling. Reflecting on their bedroom, she said, “It’s quite virginal and white, with a big four-poster, old-oak bed.”
When it comes to spending time together, Victoria prefers intimacy over rest. She once told Allure, “I’m getting into bed with David Beckham every night, so, you know, there’d be something wrong if I said, ‘sleep’.” As for her bedtime attire, she admitted to typically wearing “nothing”, though David occasionally treats her to sets from Agent Provocateur.
Victoria hasn’t shied away from publicly admiring David’s looks, famously commenting on his 2008 Emporio Armani underwear campaign. She joked about the speculation surrounding his physique, proudly declaring, “It’s huge. It’s enormous. Massive. If I looked like that, I’d walk down the streets in my panties too.” With her signature humor, she added, “It’s like a tractor exhaust pipe.”
Even David dodged the topic with a playful “No comment” when asked about Victoria’s remarks, adding, “I agree with everything my wife says.”
The couple first met in Manchester United’s players’ lounge in 1998 and have since built an empire spanning fashion and sport while raising their four children: Brooklyn, 25, Romeo, 22, Cruz, 19, and Harper, 13.
Despite their busy lives, Victoria assures fans that their bedroom life is as strong as ever. Speaking on The View, she said, “David is the most wonderful husband and fantastic father, a real inspiration. I’m lucky to have him as my soulmate.”
