Nelly Korda is not currently in-season with the LPGA Tour. The season wrapped in November after the CME Group Tour Championship. Despite it being the offseason, Korda can’t stay away from the course.
Last night, she posted a video to her Instagram story of her on the course, which also has a resort by it. She battled the wind on a truly scenic, water-front hole in the video before showcasing her friend and the beach in today’s upload.
Her sister Jessica, who is also a pro golfer, was featured in a picture on the course yesterday. The friend tagged in today’s video goes by Klara Mrcela, and she was enjoying a morning coffee while the pair waited on their breakfast.
The golfer did not tag a location on the story, though she did add a background song: Kimie Miner’s Sweet Island Air (ft. Hawane Rios).
Nelly Korda reflected on unbelievable 2024 season
When Nelly Korda resumes play next year, she will do so as the most prominent golfer in the sport. She just wrapped up a truly historic season, which included the Rolex Player of the Year Award and the Rolex Annika Major Award.
“It’s been crazy, it’s been such a fun year, full of ups and downs, but I am so, so grateful for my team sitting right here. It’s been an amazing year and I’m so grateful to be doing what I love.”
Her seventh and ultimately final win, since she finished fifth at the CME Group Tour Championship, came at the Annika. She had taken a few weeks off beforehand and said of her win:
