$4.39M Rich Nelly Korda Sheds Reality on What’s More Important & It’s ‘Not Even Golf’

The 2024 season was probably what Nelly Korda always wanted. After a winless 2023 on the LPGA Tour, the world no. 1 turned around her game to be the number one after winning seven titles in the year, including her second major, the Chevron Championship, and the 2024 Rolex LPGA Tour Play of the Year Award. It was truly incredible to witness Korda become one of the best golfers in 2024, even though she couldn’t take the CME Group Tour Championship as Jeeno Thitikul snatched that away.

Regardless of that, the 15-time LPGA Tour winner earned $4,391,930 this season. Outside of the course too, Korda made huge strides as she appeared at the Met Gala as the first women’s golfer and stepped outside of her comfort zone to become the swimsuit model for Sports Illustrated’s 2025 cover. Undoubtedly, Korda’s 2024 season has been abuzz, so what was the highlight for her?
“Honestly, not even golf. It’s becoming auntie to Greyson,” said the 26-year-old when the question was asked at the press conference. Auntie Nelly expressed that watching her nephew grow and seeing her sister, Jessica Korda, form a strong bond with her family has been amazing.

Korda’s mood surely lights up when she talks about her nephew, after all, he is the one reason she drives three hours to visit her sister. And she could not wait to spoil her only nephew as he grows up. Her eyes always light up when she talks about Greyson. Earlier this year, we saw this instance as she gave a cure update on him, smiling ear to ear, “He’s a chunker, he’s been feeding well.”
