Victoria Beckham often talks about only eating grilled fish and vegetables, with one Mediterranean diet breakfast food item among her favourite to eat

Fashion designer and mum-of-four Victoria Beckham is well-known for her slender physique and ‘glowing’ skin. But the 50-year-old doesn’t achieve her gorgeous looks all by herself – she credits much of her appearance to her strict eating habits and following a Mediterranean diet.
In 2019, the ex Spice Girls singer told The Telegraph she eats three of four avocados a day to boost her skin’s complexion. Victoria says she typically has avocados for breakfast, whether that be smashed on top of bread or in a green smoothie.
Avocados are rich in natural fatty acids that play a crucial role in skin regeneration. These fatty acids are loaded with nutrients, helping your skin maintain its smooth and youthful look for an extended period.
Avocados are also a great source of vitamin E, which can aid in reducing the visible signs of ageing. They also contain vitamin A, essential for effective cell repair.
A study from 2011 found avocados have substances that could aid in shielding skin from sun damage and inflammation. Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) rays can lead to wrinkles and other aging signs, as well as increase the risk of skin cancer.
In 2010, a separate study involving more than 700 women investigated how eating healthy fats and antioxidant micronutrients can impact skin. The findings indicated that a higher intake of fats, particularly healthy monounsaturated fats such as those found in avocados, was linked to improved skin elasticity and a decrease in the visibility of wrinkles.
