Meghan Markle ‘humiliated’ as Victoria Beckham ‘distances’ herself from Duchess for ‘key reason’

The Duchess of Sussex and the wife of former England football star David Beckham were said to be close in the early days of Meghan's relationship with Prince Harry

Meghan Markle has been dealt another setback as her Hollywood connections appear to be dwindling, with Royal commentator claiming that her once good friend Victoria Beckham has backed away from the Duchess for a particular reason.

Meghan and the spouse of ex-England football star David Beckham were reportedly close in the beginning stages of Meghan’s relationship with Prince Harry, and the Beckhams were even among the star-studded guests at their 2018 nuptials.

However, it seems the warmth has cooled, with the couples now engaged in a “streaming war” on Netflix, following the launch of their respective series on the service and more to come.

Ingrid Seward commented on the possibility of them making up, telling the Sun: “I only think they would reconcile if they come across each other, and I’m not sure that they really do. I can’t think that their paths would particularly cross again.”

“I think the Beckhams have distanced themselves from Meghan and Harry, but for the obvious reasons that we all know, you know Meghan and Harry are the descendant, not the ascendant.”

Furthermore, Seward noted Victoria’s busy schedule as another factor, saying: “[Victoria] is actually too busy. She’s got a business. She’s got a very successful husband. She’s got houses all over the place. She’s got children.”

“I don’t think she probably has any time to think about it really.”

“If Victoria Beckham’s [new show on Netflix] is a success, which I’m sure it will be, I think it’s got more chances of boosting Meghan’s.”
