How to Watch 2024 CME Group Tour Championship: TV Schedule, Live Streaming & More
The CME Group Tour Championship is coming to Florida! The top 60 golfers will battle it out at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples for a massive prize.
Nelly Korda, who has already secured the Rolex Player of the Year title, holds a comfortable lead atop the standings after a rollercoaster season that included five consecutive wins, three straight missed cuts, and ongoing injury challenges.
The epic showdown is scheduled to take place from November 21 to November 24. You are in for an exceptional weekend if you have bought the tickets for Naples next week. If not, you can still be part of all the action. That too in the comfort of your house!
The 2024 CME Tour Championship will be streaming on the Sky Sports channel on all four days. On Thursday, you need to tune into Sky Sports Main Event at 8:00 pm ET to watch the opening round, and for the second round, you need to tune into Sky Sports+ at the same time. And you will need a subscription for this. However, you can simply watch both matches on Sky Sports Golf from 8:00 pm.
On the other hand, for the weekend, the show will only be available on Sky Sports Golf. For Saturday, the timing is from 7:00 pm, and for Sunday, the broadcasting started from 6:00 pm. All times are ET.
This is going to be the final event of the LPGA Tour 2024 season, and needless to say, a lot is at stake for the winner.
Prize money for the 2024 CME Tour Championship
The largest first-place check in women’s professional golf has doubled in 2024. The LPGA Tour has announced that the CME Group Tour Championship purse has increased by $4 million to $11 million, with the winner’s share rising from $2 million to $4 million as part of a two-year extension. On the other hand, the runner-up will be taking home $1 million of the total purse, which makes only the US Women’s Open the second most lucrative event in the history of women’s golf.
The winner will also be presented with the prestigious tournament trophy while gaining a full LPGA Tour membership and exemption for the following season. With the victory, they can expect enhanced visibility and endorsement opportunities from tournament sponsors like CME Group.
Ultimately, this win will solidify the player’s position among the top names in women’s golf, offering both career milestones and future opportunities. Last year, it was Amy Yang who clinched the trophy. Who do you think will take it this year?
