In Pictures: Emma Raducanu, Iga Swiatek, Paula Badosa, Danielle Collins, and others shine in dazzling outfits at Billie Jean King Cup gala
Iga Swiatek, Paula Badosa, Danielle Collins and Emma Raducanu, among other big stars, recently turned up the glam during the 2024 Billie Jean King Cup finals reception dinner. The final rung of the international team event will run from 13 to 20 November in Malaga and has some strong teams vying for the title.
The Billie Jean King Cup, popularly known as the BJK Cup, is the premier women’s tennis team competition on the women’s tour. The qualifying rounds began in April this year with eight teams qualifying for the finals (2023 finalists Canada and Italy, host nation Spain, and wildcard Czech Republic directly made it to the last round).
The 12 teams arrived in Malaga for this week’s BJK Cup finals and were treated to a welcome reception gala. Iga Swiatek, who relinquished her World No. 1 position this year, and the rest of the Poland BJK Cup team wore a rather formal outfit, donning a magenta pant suit.
Paula Badosa and her Spanish peers, meanwhile, turned up in a patterned long dress. Emma Raducanu and the Great Britain BJK Cup team combined Spain’s and Poland’s aesthetics as they paired navy blue blazers with long skirts.
