Nelly Korda’s Rolex Player of the Year title winning season recap: Wins, earnings and more explored
Having joined the LPGA Tour in 2017, Nelly Korda has left her mark on the tour with 90 career top-25 finishes and over $12.6 million in official earnings. She has dominated the world of women’s golf this year by capturing six victories this season. With five of them being back-to-back wins, she tied the LPGA Tour’s record for the longest streak of consecutive wins.
On November 4, the LPGA Tour officially named Korda as the 2024 Rolex Player of the Year. The Olympian led the world rankings with 425.23 points from 36 events followed by Lilia Vu in second place with 293.64 points from 40 events.
In a press release issued by the LPGA Tour, Korda said:
“Winning the Rolex Player of the Year means so much to me. This season has had its highs and challenges, and I’m just really grateful for the people around me who have helped me get here. It’s been a team effort, and I’m proud to share this moment with them.”
