Andy Murray reveals bizarre Christmas dinner choice and cracks terrible tennis joke to Mary Berry
Andy Murray is no stranger to leaving people speechless with his performances on the tennis court.
But the former world No.1 managed to leave television chef and former Great British Bake Off judge Mary Berry lost for words after revealing what he eats for Christmas dinner.
Murray appeared on the BBC show Mary Berry’s Highland Christmas Special as Berry taught the tennis star a festive recipe for smoked haddock kedgeree.
But when asked by Berry what kind of things he usually eats for his own Christmas dinner, Murray’s answer was anything but festive.
He replied: “The family will have turkey, roast potatoes, all that stuff.
“But I’ve started having sushi.
“It’s my favourite meal, so…”
The 88-year-old chef was left looking stunned – and less than impressed before she replied: “It’s no comment, okay?”
The pair laughed as they continued to discuss Murray’s family and home life.
