Mel B’s Bold Response to Other Spice Girls As They Celebrate 30th Anniversary
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the formation of British pop group Spice Girls — but don’t expect a reunion anytime soon.
In an interview with the British Sky Max game show Never Mind the Buzzcocks, which is set to air in the U.K. on Wednesday, October 30, Spice Girls member Melanie “Mel B” Brown had some words for her former bandmates. In the conversation, Mel B revealed that she had been kicked out of a WhatsApp group message after she had pushed for the ladies to go on a reunion tour.
When asked what led to her getting the boot, Mel B explained, “Because I’m Northern and say what I think and feel, and I’m constantly saying to the girls, ‘We need to go back on tour.'” She continued, saying, “Because they’re d**kheads.”
