How Victoria Beckham has bonded with Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel

She’s one of the most in-demand fashion designers of the moment, and the matriarch of Britain’s unofficial first family – to most people, a meet-the-parents situation with Victoria Beckham might be a frightening prospect. However, the former Spice Girl appears to have formed a fast friendship with Jackie Apostel, the girlfriend of her son, Cruz.

Over the last few weeks, Victoria has loaned several coveted pieces to Apostel, a German-Brazilian singer-songwriter who made her debut with Cruz Beckham at Victoria’s hotly anticipated Paris Fashion Week show in September. Apostel, who is ten years Cruz’s senior, sent fans into a frenzy as she cosied up to her beau on the front row, along with the rest of the Beckham family.

Apostel wore a backless, white satin gown by Victoria Beckham’s label for the occasion, which she later called on Instagram ‘the most beautiful dress’ as she congratulated her boyfriend’s mother on her show. Victoria shared her own Instagram carousel of images, one of which featured Cruz and Apostel cosied up alongside Cruz’s siblings, Harper and Romeo – showing just how comfortable she’s become with the rest of the famous brood. ‘So grateful for my amazing family and friends,’ Victoria wrote in the caption (perhaps subtly indicating her approval).
