We never thought the words ‘Selena Gomez’ and ‘Victoria Beckham’ would appear in the same sentence when talking about a hairstyle. But we were proved wrong, when Selena’s long-time favourite manicurist Tom Bachik posted a picture of the star at the Wizards Beyond Waverly Place premiere on 29 October.
While Tom was keen to show off Selena’s gorgeous, glossy black nails (and yes, it was love at first sight), our eyes immediately travelled from her hands to her hair, which looked remarkably like Victoria in her Spice Girl days.
There were the similar poker-straight lengths and razor-sharp ends. Even the centre parting was spot on. And there is the similar timing of both stars’ autumnal, short hair transformations to consider.
