David Beckham, Victoria Beckham’s $80 Million Decision Leads To Unexpected Problem: Report

David Beckham and wife Victoria Beckham sparked concern over their newly bought mansion in Miami. Just days after moving into the $80 million property in the lavish waterfront community, the power couple unfortunately stirred up annoyance among their new neighbors.

According to Page Six, residents reported that the neighborhood was overrun with paparazzi, fans and curious onlookers eager to catch a glimpse of the duo. The incident also caused residents to worry about their security.

“The whole world is driving by, paparazzi are there, the houses are all over the Web, and the neighbors are concerned for their safety,” the source told the outlet.

Furthermore, they “wished the Beckhams hadn’t used their real name,” adding, “Miami’s neighborhoods aren’t Beverly Hills—it’s a lot of private, non-famous families.”

The Page Six report noted that the soccer icon and his wife purchased the house in their names rather than establishing a limited liability company, as many other celebrities do to acquire homes discreetly and protect their addresses for security reasons.

Beckham’s mega-mansion on North Bay Road was designed by the award-winning Miami-based architecture and design firm Choeff Levy Fischman.

The lavish property boasts nine bedrooms and nine full bathrooms with impressive amenities, such as a private theater, a state-of-the-art gym and spa, a three-car garage with lifts, and a rooftop deck with panoramic views of Biscayne Bay.

The neighborhood is also home to top celebrities, including Shakira and Bee Gees star Barry Gibb.
