Meeting your significant others’ parents is tough at the best of times but when said parents are global superstars Victoria and David Beckham it’s fair to say that adds a whole new layer of pressure.
Then there’s every moment of the getting-to-know-you stage being poured over in the press. Spare a thought then for Brazilian singer-songwriter Jackie Apostel.
At 29 years of age, she is a whole decade older than her boyfriend, the Beckhams’ youngest son Cruz, a tricky enough hurdle to navigate at the best of times.
By all accounts though the relationship is going strong and the family has welcomed Jackie into the fold.
Victoria appeared to give her son’s girlfriend the seal of approval when Jackie appeared alongside the rest of the Beckhams at the designer’s show in Paris in September, wearing one of her creations no less, a cream dress that retails for around €1,200.
She also joined them for Brooklyn’s hot sauce launch, again wearing a Victoria Beckham look. Next up came an appearance with Victoria, Harper, and Cruz in the stands at an Inter-Miami game.
